Rama Naicken Lake Eco Restoration
The Rama Naicken Lake Eco Restoration project, commissioned by the Hosur City Municipal Corporation, is dedicated to revitalizing a 123.96-acre waterbody and its surrounding ecosystem. The initiative focuses on improving water quality, enhancing biodiversity, and restoring the lake’s natural balance. The master plan incorporates wetland development, shoreline stabilization, and extensive native vegetation to promote ecological health. Architectural and structural interventions include walking tracks, viewing platforms, and recreational amenities for public use. MEP systems address sustainable lighting, water management, and infrastructure support. Currently 85% complete, the project is set to become a key ecological and community asset for Hosur.
